Bella In Bloom

Description

I got addicted to flowers around the time I was planning my own wedding. The beauty of nature, colour, design and all things pretty had me hooked. After completing my qualifications in floristry I started the crazy journey of starting my own business.

Bella In Bloom started at my dining table, in my home at Andrews Farm. From there it moved into my garage, starting with one car space and eventually taking my husband’s side as well. In fact my whole house was taken over, but that had to change! So in September 2016 I moved all things floral into a warehouse studio and the next adventure began.

I have an almost creepy relationship with my flower supplier which has developed over the many years and many many crazy weddings. She is a magic maker and finds the most amazing things to tempt me with. Having a wholesaler I can trust makes me a better florist and keeps my love and passion in flowers alive.

When I’m not working, my gorgeous little girl Bellana and energetic little boy Lukas keep me pretty busy. Their cheeky smiles help me stay energised and focused and I would be forever lost without them! My husband Sam is pretty awesome too. You can occasionally see him by my side setting up weddings or doing delivery runs when I have multiple weddings on. He is a huge part of my business and I couldn’t do it without him.

Between a business and family I don’t get a lot of sleep or time to myself, so am a little nuts a lot of the time, but I like to think that makes me fun and quirky rather then completely bonkers.
